"Rand Paul has the intellectual confidence to go toe-to-toe with folks like Dr. Fauci when they are spewing things that are incorrect," said Navy SEAL & former Governor Eric Greitens.
In an interview with Austin Petersen on News Radio KWOS on Tuesday morning, Greitens offered Rand Paul (R-KY) as his most admired Senator.
"Rand Paul has the intellectual confidence to go toe-to-toe with folks like Dr. Fauci when they are spewing things that are incorrect. I think we have to have folks like Rand Paul who come from a base of experience where he's not a career politician. He's in the United States Senate, and he is willing every single day to go toe-to-toe with the left & toe-to-toe with the establishment and he's willing to do it with courage," said Greitens.
Greitens is a US Navy SEAL & former Governor of Missouri running to replace retiring US Senator Roy Blunt. In April, Greitens announced that former prosecutor, Fox News host, and advisor to President Donald J. Trump Kimberly Guilfoyle would serve as the national chair of his 2022 campaign in Missouri.
Greitens enjoys support from many of President Trump's allies, including former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, former New York City Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik, former Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, Dr. Sebastian Gorka, Jessie Jane Duff, Pastor Darrell Scott, Victoria Toensing & Joe DiGenova, Steve Cortes, Bruce LeVell, and others.
A recent poll conducted by President Trump's pollster showed Greitens leading the Republican field by over 40 points.
